Bell, with six other UMC churches, just concluded two weeks of intense work on neglected (due to infirmity) or storm damaged homes. Throughout the month of July we worked to bring much needed relief to our friends and neighbors. Bell Church, Big Sandy, and Grace within Leicester welcomed groups from Williamson’s Chapel, Guilford College UMC, and Mount Tabor UMC of North Carolina and Lighthouse Fellowship of Pennsylvania. These organizations together brought about fifty-six people, along with their big hearts for service and the necessary materials, straight into the disaster zone.
